CASEMENT WINDOWS
WHAT IS A CASEMENT WINDOW?
A casement window is hinged on the side, allowing you to open them outward by turning a crank. Usually, they are taller than they are wide and offer complete ventilation top to bottom.

Polar Seal Fast Facts:

Most vinyl casement windows are big, bulky and ugly. They reduce glass area, limit your view and look like old-fashioned "plastic" replacement windows.

Our 65 years in the window business has taught us that casement windows (sometimes called crank outs) can be beautiful. We utilize a sleek, slim and trim vinyl profile. Our casement windows look more like a traditional wood casement.

  • The crank hardware is warranted against corrosion and is time proven to provide many years of effortless opening and closing.
  • Double rubber gasket seals, made from material that won't dry out in the sun and protect from wind and rain. Inside things stay warm and dry.
  • Tandem operating locks for security and optional folding crank handles that won't interfere with curtains, drapes or blinds.
  • Sight lines match up with adjacent Polar Seal picture windows too; a demand of top architects.
